Indie Artist School Hiring for Vocal Coach Job at Remote Full Time

Indie Artist School is an online R&B vocal coaching school! We specialize in R&B and deliver high-quality coaching, vocal instruction, custom vocal exercise plans, and track student progress for the best results!

We are looking for a charismatic, passionate, knowledgeable, trainable vocal coach to provide 1:1 virtual vocal coaching to adult students. Vocal coaches are expected to create a positive and uplifting environment for our students to learn.

Position Requirements

For this role, a strong internet connection is required, along with a reliable computer with a high-quality microphone and video capabilities.

Prior experience using communication tools like Zoom–and working knowledge of programs such as Dropbox and Calendly, are preferred.

Extensive understanding of the fundamentals of singing. Including breathing, support, vocal placement, classifications, vocal range, how vocal registers work, and the ability to sing & demonstrate advanced R&B techniques such as vocal runs & belting, and familiar with both traditional & contemporary R&B artists, songs, and techniques.

Responsibilities

• Coach students in recorded 1hr sessions via Zoom
• Record student progress in vocal workbooks
• Upload recorded student sessions to student folders
• Update/add necessary vocal exercises (provided by the school) to the student workbooks

Pay:

Starting at $18/hr. with opportunity for growth.

Hours:

10-20 hours per week occurring at student scheduled times between the hours of Sunday-Thursday 10 am-7 pm CST with paid training.

Must be available for the following coaching session hours each week:

• 12:30p-7p CST Sundays

• 11a-2p CST Mondays

• 4:30p-7p CST on Tues & Thurs.

• A chunk of 2-3 hrs consistently open on Wednesday of your choice (between 10a-7p CST)

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
