Indiana Wesleyan University Hiring for International DBA Adjunct Professor – Online Job at Remote Full Time

Summary of Position: We are seeking applicants who have demonstrated a commitment to building and cultivating successful online teaching relationships with students residing in China enrolled in a Doctor of Business Administration Completion (DBA-C) program.
Adjunct faculty members are experienced professionals with the responsibility of providing a quality learning experience for Indiana Wesleyan University students. The adjunct faculty member will be current within his or her discipline, and demonstrate a passion for teaching and learning with related professional experience. Experience working with diverse students is required and with Chinese students preferred.

Qualifications: According to Indiana Wesleyan University employment policy all employees must possess a strong Christian commitment and adhere to the standards outlined in the IWU Community Lifestyle Statement.

Education

Required: A doctorate or Ph.D. in business or a business-related field. A minimum of 18 doctoral-level graduate hours in general business, economics, leadership, management, or marketing. A track-record of successful instruction at the graduate level in an online or virtual environment is required.

Experience

• Experience and/or expertise teaching at the graduate level
• Teaching experience preferred with Chinese students
• Experience in or appreciation of Problem-based learning
• Minimum seven years’ work experience in relevant business industry preferred
• Evidence of recency evident in publicly available artifacts such as publications, or other media

• Demonstrated knowledge of online educational delivery tools
• Demonstrated teaching abilities
• Demonstrated higher education experience
• Demonstrated proficiency in using Microsoft products
• Demonstrated knowledge of adult learners
• Demonstrated a commitment to building and cultivating diversity through leadership, teaching and/or service
