Job Description: Starting at $30,000+ base salary yearly with commission pay and reimbursement.
The Outside Sales Representative promotes and sells the company’s products and services to established customers and new accounts. The Outside Sales Representative contacts and secures new business accounts and customers. This position is responsible for maintaining sustainable records of sales and understanding the organization’s range of products and services.

Responsibilities:
· Responsible for the follow-up on new leads and referrals stemming from field activity.
· Responsible for preparing and making presentations, proposals, and sales contracts.
· Responsible for establishing and maintaining documentation relating to sales and current products.
· Responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with current and potential customers.
· Responsible for the follow-up on the collection of payments for their client accounts.
· Responsible for participation in quality checks and other supporting activities for accounts.
· Travel to and visit with current and prospective buyers.
· Responsible for resolving customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing s if necessary; making recommendations to management.
· The Sales Representative completes all responsibilities in a time effective manner by meeting all deadlines and producing the correct sales documentation.
· Performs vendor managed inventory (VMI) at customer’s facility.
· Manages warehouse inventory levels for VMI accounts at Index Packaging.
· The Outside Sales Representative will analyze the market’s potential and determine the value of existing and prospective customers’ to Index Packaging.
· Communicates design needs and requirements from customers to the Engineering department, including supplying samples and related information.
· Reviews manufacturing specification sheets when completed by Engineering.
· Demonstrates general knowledge of Index Packaging products and services.
· Works within the current system of operation and aids in the development of new systems.
· Responsible for determining solutions for customers and uses consultative sales approach.
Education/Licensing and/or Certifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in marketing or other related field
· Must possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in custom packaging/manufacturing industry
· Holds a valid driver’s license
Salary and Rank:
· Salaried position-negotiable based on qualifications
· Commission as dictated by direct accounts serviced as sales representative
· Company car expense.
