Index AR Solutions Hiring for Computer Science at Williamsburg, VA Full Time

Index AR Solutions is looking for Computer Science Canidiates who have a familiarity with and a desire to grow in computer programming to fill our App Engineer position. App Engineers at Index develop and deploy custom-built applications for their clients across the industrial, medical, and energy sectors.
Candidates with an education in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, industrial engineering, computer engineering, and computer science are encouraged to apply!

Responsibilities

• Evaluate the client’s challenges
• Design a technical solution that translates the client’s needs into application features
• Execute app development and any other subsidiary items to build the app
• Communicate progress of the application to the client and update the material based on client feedback
• Write high quality source code to program complete applications within deadlines
• Perform unit and integration testing before launch
• Conduct functional and non-functional testing
• Troubleshoot and debug applications

Skills & Requirements

• BS (Bachelor of Science) in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering,

Computer Engineering, or Computer Science from an ABET accredited program

• Willing to travel to client one week every six weeks
• A team player with excellent communication skills
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving capability
• Great attention to detail and time-management skills
• Ability to program in at least one programming language such as C#, Java (J2EE) etc.
• Experience in fabrication, manufacturing & assembly, and/or construction is a plus
• Experience in app development or design is a plus
• Experience with 3D modeling is a plus
• Experience with source control is a plus
• Experience with Unity or Unreal is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
