Job description

As a Credit Controller you will support the day to day delivery of financial transactions, accounting movements and amendments related to accounts receivable, banking and credit control. A key member of the Financial Accounting team, the role is responsible for delivering financial value through sound debt management and credit control, supporting the rest of the organisation in matters relating to Finance.


Responsibilities

Managing debt via an effective repayment processing system, working collaboratively with the Payroll and MP Services teams

Applying IPSA’s debt policy consistently, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all chased amounts

Dealing with finance queries and activities efficiently and effectively, supporting the MPs’ Business Costs Publication process

The successful candidate will have previous experience of working within a Finance and administrative role and have strong communication skills. They will have strong knowledge of Excel and have excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. The appointed candidate is likely to be actively studying towards an accountancy based qualification or Qualified by experience.
