Finance Officer

Our Commercial Team is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to take on a Finance Officer role.

As a Finance Officer, your responsibilities will include:

• Deliver timely and accurate billing to NDIS, TAC, Third Parties, Self-Funded Patients including the collection of revenues
• Ensure financial obligations are promptly met by applying diligence in processing expenses
• Assist in financial analyses and reporting
• Maintain and contribute to process improvements that will drive efficiency and effectiveness
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders as required
• Advocate and reinforce internal controls across the business

Healthscope Independence Services is a specialist provider of unique accommodation, attendant care and in-home services for people with disabilities and other complex conditions. Our houses provide long-term and respite accommodation and promote a better quality of life for residents.

Selection Criteria:

• Accounting/Finance/Business degree with significant professional experience in the Finance function
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Excellent written, verbal, numeric and communication skills
• Ability to function effectively in a multi-disciplinary team as well as independently
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
• Process improvement experience

You will need to provide proof of COVID vaccinations and to have successfully completed your NDIS Worker Screening Check
