About the Role:
We are currently looking for a passionate, Software Developer who enjoys developing web applications with the ability to contribute to both server side and client-side components. The successful candidate will develop and contribute to new and existing applications used by enterprises and large corporations. Additional tasks such as requirements gathering, design collaboration, development estimates, testing and documentation will also be required. What you will be doing: *

• Write maintainable, clean, re-usable, and efficient code in compliance with department standards and templates
• Contribute and collaborate with technical design
• Participate in code reviews as both submitted and reviewer
• Work using an agile methodology, participating in common practices such as backlog grooming, sprint planning, story point estimating, etc.
• Learn and understand the technology stack being applied
• Learn and understand the business objectives motivating the design to provide recommendations
• Make recommendations to our processes, standards, and approach to continually improve our quality and efficiency
• Ensure clear communication of work status and concerns with co-workers and team leads to allow for assistance

• Supporting enhancements to production systems including resolving issues related to recent releases

What you’ll need to succeed:

• 2+ experience as a Software Developer
• Degree in Computer Science or Engineering at University or College level
• Extensive experience in software development with an Agile approach to project management
• Experience with modern JS frameworks like Angular, React and Responsive design
• Experience with Java programming language
• Experience utilizing ORMs working with PostgreSQL and SQL Server
• Experience with SQL and database design for applications
• Experience utilizing application frameworks working with Spring for Java
• Experience working in AWS cloud environment for hosting and designing applications using AWS services
• Experience working with CI/CD processes for deployment
• Experience working with microservice Design patterns
• Experience with performance tuning high transaction capacity applications
• Experience mapping business requirements for technical designs and implementation
• Strong documentation and presentation skills
• Eagerness to learn in an innovative and fast-moving environment
• The ability to engage and contribute towards building a positive client relationships,
• Ability to manage multiple initiatives, often with competing priorities.

• Have experience with Jira & Confluence
• Eye for UX design
• DevOps Experience
