The Enterprise Jobs team is an innovative team focused on improving the hiring process for Enterprise employers. We work to provide first class experiences for Enterprises to post and manage their jobs for the large scale of roles they need to fill. This requires working across multiple teams, codebases, and business areas, offering a unique opportunity to understand and partner across multiple parts of Indeed. We are a data driven team working closely with UX designers and researchers, and run A/B tests to validate potential of our ideas. We focus on impact and testing things as rapidly and cheaply as possible so we don’t fret when we throw away code. Are you passionate about improving and automating workflows for large scale hiring needs? We’re seeking a remote full-stack software engineer to join our team to help us change the way Enterprises think about hiring.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with designers, product managers, subject matter experts, and other engineers across Indeed.
  • Build full-stack applications using various languages such as: React, Java, and Python.
  • Continually improve our technical stack and processes.
  • Maintain existing tools and infrastructure as necessary.


Who You Are

You are self-motivated, disciplined, and enjoy working in a remote distributed team model. You possess a mix of technical and business strength, with strong initiative, ownership, and follow-through. You have excellent communication skills and enjoy collaborating with UX Designers and Product Managers to figure out how we can build new ideas.
We’re looking for someone who
  • Has experience with a breadth of front-end architecture principles and technologies.
  • Understands the end-user and can build simple, elegant solutions.
  • Moves FAST but can manage risk by slowing down if needed.
  • Thinks about WHY something needs to be built, not just what needs to be built.
  • Loves to learn and develop new skills continuously.
  • Is willing to work in a tech stack deemed most suitable for the project.
  • Is excited to work on testing a variety of product ideas, either currently underway or conceived in the future.
  • Takes initiative to understand, measure, and solve the most important business problems.

Requirements:

  • BS or MS in Computer Science (or equivalent).
  • Demonstrated ability to develop full-stack software applications.
  • Excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills.

Salary Range Disclaimer

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Indeed salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Indeed’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include quarterly bonuses, Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), an open Paid Time Off policy, and many region-specific benefits.


Salary Range Transparency

US Remote 132,000 – 192,000 USD per year
