Indeed SMB (Small & Medium Businesses) LEADS team is focused on developing software to better understand SMBs and their hiring needs and providing this data to other teams, allowing for a customized job posting and hiring experiences. We also own machine learning processes that help identify customers that would most benefit from a relationship with sales, and provide global sales teams with information that allows them to best support these customers.


Who You Are


About you:
Requirements
  • BS in Computer Science or related area, or relevant work experience
  • Proven success working in an individual contributor leadership role for top tech companies
  • 5+ years of experience in large-scale software development
  • Solid understanding of databases, SQL or NoSQL
  • Demonstrated use of Kafka, SQS, RabbitMQ, or other messaging frameworks
  • Solid knowledge of data structures and algorithms and excellent programming skills
  • The desire to solve tough problems with quality software at scale
  • An understanding of the value derived from shipping code rapidly to production and learning/iterating on the results.
  • Experience with service-oriented and event-driven system architectures is a plus

Salary Range Disclaimer

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Indeed salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Indeed’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include quarterly bonuses, Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), an open Paid Time Off policy, and many region-specific benefits.


Salary Range Transparency

Austin 109,000 – 159,000 USD per year
