We are looking for a Security Training Specialist – Technical Program Manager to assist in the management and continued maturity of Indeed’s security awareness culture. Specifically, this role will focus on role-based training development. Our goal is to mitigate human risk by delivering the right information to the right people and the right time. In this role, you’ll create blended learning programs by working with cross-functional teams to understand key risks and knowledge gaps. A background in AppSec is a plus; you will spend a significant amount of time developing training content for developers to ensure secure code practices are in place. The Security Training Specialist – Technical Program Manager will effectively deliver business results by championing a culture of accountability and consistent application of project & program management practices. We are facilitators and motivators, working across departments and offices to ensure collaboration, communication, visibility, and successful delivery of programs and projects. Ultimately this role will be responsible for helping teams achieve their goals, work strategically together, and remain as adaptable as possible in a fun, ever-changing environment. We’re always looking for ways to optimize. We need a Security Training Specialist – Technical Program Manager to help guide and deliver value for medium to large business initiatives, or multiple Security team projects.
Responsibilities
- Ensure Indeed’s security awareness culture program meets all industry regulations, standards, and compliance requirements.
- Develop, implement and oversee the execution of a structured, blended learning program
- Works with the security team to identify the top human risks to our organization and the behaviors we need to change to manage those risks. Ensure Indeed’s program effectively changes these behaviors so our workforce acts securely, reducing the most risk to our organization. In addition, you will identify if any roles require additional or more specialized training in this position and ensure those roles receive it.
- Create a positive program that builds on our culture and engages people to focus on changing behaviors both at home and at work. Ultimately, we want our employees to demonstrate the same secure behaviors regardless of where they are or whose technologies they are using.
- Structure and maintain this program to be long-term, so we are not changing just behaviors but ultimately culture.

Who You Are
Requirements
- Highly adaptable in a fast-paced hyper-growth environment; thrives when working independently.
- Experience developing and delivering security training material and programs for development teams.
- Experience working within an application security team is a plus.
- You have 5+ years of experience working as a project manager with experience leading large and complex cross-functional projects in a technology company.
- The ability to take the initiative, reach out to and coordinate with different people in different departments. Collaboration and partnering with others, including people in other countries, are critical to success.
- Understand the concepts of organizational behavior culture and how culture impacts how people behave, learn and interact with others.
- You have experience informing your leadership in setting expectations for initiatives within your scope of responsibility.
- You are comfortable talking about technical matters with business people and business matters with technical people.
- SANS Security Awareness Professional (SSAP) credential or any certifications in Organizational Change, Marketing, Instructional Design, or Communications will be considered a plus.

Salary Range Disclaimer
The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Indeed salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Indeed’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include quarterly bonuses, Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), an open Paid Time Off policy, and many region-specific benefits.
Salary Range Transparency
US Remote 100,000 – 140,000 USD per year
