The team:

You’ll be joining an important strategic project at Indeed, working on Screening Automation.
At the start of the COVID pandemic, many essential businesses came to Indeed for help hiring thousands of workers as fast as possible. The base salary range below represents the low and high end of the Indeed salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Indeed’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards include quarterly bonuses, Long Term Incentive Plan units, an open Paid Time Off policy, and many region-specific benefits.


Your job:

As a member of the Evaluate team, you will be working closely with Product Managers, UX Designers, and your SWE teammates to define, design, implement, and measure new features and improvements to the platform. You will be focusing on how we can start small to validate ideas, and rapidly iterate based on data from our users.

As a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and delivering large features, working with other senior engineers to set technical direction, and helping the platform scale up as it expands to meet the interviewing needs of employers around the world. At the same time, you will be mentoring less experienced engineers, applying engineering best practices, and helping to create a culture of software quality and operational excellence.

You are a full-stack engineer — ideally equally comfortable working on the back and front end — who is passionate about driving great product experiences across the world. You understand that the teams which have the greatest impact are those with great individuals who can collaborate and deliver more together than they possibly could individually.

Requirements:

  • BS or MS in Computer Science (or equivalent)
  • 5+ years of experience with full stack application development
  • Excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills
  • Nice to have: Experience working with Python / Django and React

Austin 109,000 – 159,000 USD per year
