Location: Remote / Sacramento, CA / Canoga Park, CA / Huntsville, AL

Pay Rate: $40.00 – $55.00/HR

Job Type: 6 Month Contract

Duties:

-The Talent Sourcer is integral to the success of our recruiting efforts.

-This role manages the all-important first stage of our recruiting process and supports the Talent Acquisition team throughout the recruiting, offer, and onboarding process.

-Talent Sourcer responsibilities include using various channels to look for potential candidates, contacting passive candidates, and building talent pipelines for future hiring needs.

-Ultimately, you will proactively identify our hiring needs and help us fill our critical openings with well-qualified employees.

-You will be expected to perform with minimal direction and to utilize a high level of expertise and professional acumen to this role.

Work Responsibilities:

-75% – Researches, identifies contacts and qualifies prospective candidates for assigned positions. Establishes, evaluates, and employs a broad range of sourcing techniques to develop pipelines of high-quality candidates. Communicates and manages the sourcing process and progress with recruiters and management. Monitors quality of candidates and adequacy of sourcing efforts and adjusts techniques as necessary. Develops talent pipelines for future hiring needs. Develops referrals from current employees and external networks and promotes the Aerojet Rocketdyne employer brand.

-15% – Utilizes appropriate tools (ATS – iCIMS, LinkedIn, Resume databases, etc.) to locate potential candidates and to document contact activities.

-10% – Participates in activities and initiatives to enhance the Company’s talent acquisition program, including staffing forecasting, networking activities, etc. Applies expertise toward recommending process improvement of the overall staffing strategy, focusing on quality, cost effectiveness and timeliness of fulfilling staffing needs.

-SECONDARY FUNCTIONS: May plan, conduct, lead and coordinate projects or major phases of significant project assignments, coordinating the efforts of support staff in the performance of assigned activities.

Skills:

-Proven work experience as a Talent Sourcer or similar role in an agency and/or corporate environment.

-Previous experience working with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain and business function positions strongly preferred.

-Hands-on experience with sourcing techniques (e.g., recruiting on social platforms and crafting Boolean search strings).

-Familiarity with HR databases, Applicant Tracking Systems (iCIMS experience preferred) and Candidate Management Systems (CMSs).

-Experience utilizing LinkedIn and other sourcing platforms.

-Solid verbal and written communication skills.

-Ability to positively present our company and open roles to potential candidates.

-Effective time-management abilities.

-Demonstrated skill in managing customer relationships at the highest organizational levels–ability to reflect professionalism, empathy and solution-oriented approaches.

-Demonstrated skill in identifying customer needs and delivering customer service.

-Strong process and continuous improvement orientation.

-Attention to detail, ability to interpret and follow verbal and written instruction material to perform complex tasks.

-Able to prioritize competing demands with strong organizational and communication skills.

-Must be able to take on broadly defined assignments in other capacities within the Human Resources organization if needed.

Education:

-BS Degree and 3+ years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
