Full Job Description

We are looking for a competent bookkeeper who is familiar with quickbooks to help our small business grow. This person must be able to use quickbooks to reconcile bank statements and process journal entries for multiple companies. The ideal candidate will be a hard-working professional able to work diligently under pressure. This person must be comfortable working with a high degree of attention to detail and discretion as well as incorporating new and effective ways to achieve better results.

This is a part time position, days and hours are flexible 100% to you.

——Responsibilities—–

Data Entry and bookkeeping

Answering phone calls from brokers & drivers, answering questions in a polite, confident and decisive manner.

Initiate and reply to emails with brokers and drivers.

Create and update records ensuring accuracy and validity of information.

Take on additional tasks and make suggestions to improve operations.

Coordinate with other employees to ensure compliance with established policies.

Maintain trusting relationships with co-workers, drivers and brokers.

Perform receptionist duties

Working knowledge of office equipment
Ability to learn new tasks quickly
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Analytical abilities and aptitude in problem-solving
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Self starter
Proficiency in MS Office
Proficiency in Quickbooks

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $50.00 per month

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Supplemental Pay:

  • Bonus pay

Experience:

  • Bookkeeping: 1 year (Preferred)
