About you

The successful candidates will demonstrate operational experience as an Appointed Shotfirer with a minimum of 5 years experience, and have a sound background in Electronic initiation systems and blast controlling. Key requirements of the role include:

Qld Shotfirer Licence – essential

Current Queensland Security Card Clearance or willingness to obtain one

Standard 11

High Risk Forklift Licence (desirable)

TAE40116 or equivalent (preferred)

Demonstrated compliance with safety, and a good knowledge and understanding of safety systems

Experience with Electronic Initiation Systems

Excellent communication skills, supportive team member with a positive attitude

Good computer literacy, and aptitude to learn and use site specific software
