Imperial College London Hiring for Education Quality Analyst Job at Charing Cross, England Full Time

The Education Quality Analyst is a key member of the Imperial College School of Medicine Secretariat, ensuring that the data collated through various methods is analysed and used effectively to support decision making by the School leadership. In addition, the post holder supports key quality assurance meetings within our governance structure as well as administrative functions to ensure our clinical educators are recognised for their activities.

You will contribute to strategies to develop and enhance current cohort-level data analysis techniques and to the assessment of trends across all aspects of student learning experiences.

The Secretariat is responsible for school governance, monitoring the student experience and quality assurance of the MBBS, Intercalated BSc and BSc Medical Biosciences programmes. The School has over 2000 students on these programmes. Our key functions include collating and evaluating evidence against the standards set out by our regulators, including the General Medical Council. We have a central role in identifying risk and assessing improvements by managing action plans and in the capture and sharing of good practice.

Duties and responsibilities

• Performing data analysis and moderation to produce and present quantitative and quantitative reports, using Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Qualtrics and other software.
• Identifying and making recommendations to contribute to the operational improvement of quality processes.
• Assisting in annual internal and external quality reviews.
• Delivering a range of administrative and/or customer services in support of existing systems and processes to maximise service quality, efficiency and continuity.

Essential requirements

• A methodical and analytical approach to work with a high degree of attention to detail.
• Ability to coordinate a range of datasets and manage your own workload to tight deadlines.
• Ability to identify key issues and risks, using your initiative to undertake further research as necessary and suggest options to reduce impact or resolve.
• Ability to write clear and accurate summary and report documents
• Advanced knowledge in using Microsoft Excel for processing and analysis, with a high level of skill in using other Office applications such as Power Bi, PowerPoint, Outlook and Word, Qualtrics or equivalent surveying platform, and other ICT applications
• Excellent interpersonal, written and customer service skills, with the ability to deal confidently and effectively with enquiries from medical students, academic and clinical colleagues.
