The role
The Project Support Analyst is a 12 month fixed term role to be part of a large HR and People and Culture Project here at Imperial Brands.
You will support in the implementation an established project plan; monitor progress and performance against the project plan; identify, resolve, or escalate operational problems and minimise delays.
You will coordinate the activities of outside contractors to ensure they are integrated into the project and that the organisation receives satisfactory standards of service. You will also support project meetings and prepare regular reports to communicate the status of the project within and beyond the project team.
Playing a supporting role in this project deliverables including basic data collation and analysis and workshop coordination.
Please note: This role is a 12 month fixed term contract
Key accountabilities include:
Maintain key project documentation such as project updates and risk logs
Document and follow up on important actions and decisions from meetings
Support in the coordination of project team members and external consultants towards project milestones
Support in the coordination of wider project stakeholders (HRDs, P&C Business Partners, Business Representatives) towards project milestones
Prepare project updates for P&C Stakeholders ensuring a clear, consistent understanding of project progress and next steps
Support in the collation of key project data, leveraging efficient data gathering approaches (MS Teams, Microsoft Forms) where possible
Coordinate key project meetings and business workshops
With supervision, manage a defined sub stream of the master project plan ensuring delivery to time and quality. Ensure project documentation (plans and risk logs) are updated with progress
Work with the HR Technology (Workday) team on the technical impact of the project. Work with the team to update process documentation and user guides and support in communication to the wider P&C Community
Essential skills and experience required:
Previous experience of working within HR and part of HR projects
Previous experience of working within an analytical role
Proven project management experience
Excellent excel and reporting skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated ability to summarise complex concepts accurately and succinctly for a non-technical audience
Highly organised with a demonstrated ability to apply project management practices
Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills, with high attention to detail
Comfortable using technology (MS Teams, MS Forms, Excel) to achieve more efficient ways of working
Excellent diary management skills and able to bring teams together
Excellent interpersonal skills and confident to deliver results via presentations and workshops
Self-motivated, independent and proactive
