Reporting to Finance Manager and supporting the Finance team in day-to-day operations, Month ends and Year ends processes.

Responsibilities and outcomes:

• Monitor, respond to emails and organise the Finance inbox
• Maintain good relationship with Suppliers & Faculties
• Maintain and issue purchase orders
• Setting up new Suppliers/Faculty on the Accounting software and ensuring we relevant contracts in place
• Code, batch and enter invoices and expenses
• Reconcile and post monthly Credit card statements
• Collect and review invoice and purchase order authorisation for payments
• File completed work electronically
• Prepare payment batches on accounting software and the bank platform and ensure suppliers and staff expenses are paid in a timely manner
• Post payments
• Raise and send remittances
• Reconcile Supplier Statements back to account balances
• Ensure all DD invoices are posted promptly each month
• Ensure cost of sales/sales register is always up to date including related balance sheet reconciliations
• Review Aged Creditors list for UK & USA monthly
• Process any items through Intercompany accounts and ensure they balance
• Accruals & Prepayments – Maintain balance sheet reconciliations and ensure they are always up to date
• Daily Banking transaction to be updated on the accounting software & Cashflow excel sheets
• Assisting with reporting for month end and year end requirements

• Good numerical and Excel skills
• Proactive nature regarding problem solving
• Accounting Seed (Salesforce.com Application) preferable, but not essential
• Highly motivated with a relevant finance/accounting qualification and looking to pursue a career in Finance
• Professional attitude and good work ethic, with excellent attention to detail
• Excellent communicator across all levels
• Residence in the UK and legally allowed to work in the UK for at least the next two years
