About Our Client

Our client is an aviation innovation global leader, who offers specialized airborne aviation and geophysical exploration services to the global mining and exploration sector. Utilizing an advanced fleet of airborne, fixed-wing systems, their comprehensive multi-physics solutions include gravity, magnetic, electromagnetic, and radiometric surveys.

The Role + Responsibilities:

Under The Supervision Of The Project Operations Manager, The Chief Engineer – Project Operations Will Oversee a Proficient Team Comprising Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineers, Structures Personnel, And Specialized Technicians. The Key Responsibility Is To Facilitate The Aircraft Modification Process For Geophysical Survey Operations. You Will Be Tasked With

  • Enhancing and streamlining processes related to aircraft modifications
  • Certify modifications and aircraft maintenance on behalf of Confidential Aviation Pty Ltd
  • Develop project plans for aircraft modification, including resource allocation and personnel assignment
  • Ensure that work activities performed under the Certificate of Approval adhere to procedures outlined in the Confidential Aviation Maintenance Organizations Manual, CASA regulations, and broader legislative requirements.

Requirement and experience required:

  • Self-motivated and adept at leadership
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a diverse team
  • Experience in job/project coordination
  • Previous involvement in aircraft modification projects
  • Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer with B1.1 License
  • Experience with Cessna C208 airframes
  • Desirable coverage of PT6 and/or TPE 331 licenses
  • Advantageous background in sheet metal repairs and manufacturing
