Required Skills
Reporting to the Materials Manager, the role will be responsible for physical and business system movements in/out of all warehouse locations, and the quantity/dollar accuracy and integrity of this Inventory. Assure customer on time delivery and support optimizations of physical space and inventory levels. Assist other team members across the stores/warehouse/service group as needed to fulfill business requirements. Support weekly inventory cycle counts and the yearly in a timely efficient manner.
What you’ll be doing:
Picking and packing installation crates for delivery to exhibitor sites
Support all inventory control activities, including In/Out transactions, picking, put-away, receiving and closing work orders, non-conformance status, etc
Identify shortages that impact production and report/communicate appropriately
Physical lifting/moving of inventory items and carts
Use of handtools to secure dunnage and packaging materials
Use of forklift and pallet jack to safely move materials inside warehouse and load/unload trucks
Identify BOM issues and track/communicate to stakeholders, including Engineering
Maintain audits and weekly cycle counts, reporting discrepancies (charts/tracking)
Support cycle count process
Assist in supporting the analysis of inventory for potential excess and obsolescence
Assist with Service Inventory processes, or Shipping/Receiving as required
Assist in supporting the development and maintenance of policies and procedures
Strive and bring forward ideas for continuous improvement that contribute to time, quality and cost improvements
Support optimization of warehouse space utilization and increased efficiencies
Responsible for a clean and safe work environment
Assist with month end duties
Provide back up to the team as required
What we’re looking for:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Ideally 4 years of experience in a Stores/Warehouse environment
Proficient with a stores/inventory ERP system (SAP preferred) and Microsoft Office (Basic Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint)
Knowledge and adherence to Health and Safety requirements and procedures within a warehouse environment.
Self-motivated, self-starter with a positive outlook, high energy and acts as a role model
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Strong team player, with the ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary manufacturing environment
Recognize opportunities for improvement to methods, procedures or services
Ability to organize, pivot and execute multiple priorities
