Envision Your Experience
The Curriculum Specialist, Core Math is responsible for the strategic roadmap to bring impactful, efficacious products to market, while also meeting key business objectives. This leadership role bridges curriculum, product development, marketing, and sales to inform the strategic product plan.

  • Position Type    : This is a regular, full-time position.
  • Location: In this US-based position your location will be remote.
  • Travel: You can also expect to travel up to 15%, so be sure you have a valid driver’s license and automobile insurance and a clean driving record for at least the preceding 39 months.

Share Your Expertise
Experience, education, and qualifications essential for success in this role, include:
  • Collaborate on a cross-functional team of product and curriculum experts charged with the design of world class, digital, standards aligned, instructionally rigorous, teacher-friendly, classroom-ready curriculum products
  • Contribute to the overall math curriculum product strategy, providing pedagogical expertise and practical instructional guidance to ensure that products are coherent, rigorous, and practical to implement
  • Ensure that materials are accessible to all learners and have differentiation supports and an asset-based approach, incorporating best practices from UDL and DEI frameworks
  • Write, review, and maintain product specifications and guidelines for developing products
  • Liaise with the Professional Development and Customer Success teams on curriculum trainings, professional learning, and customer needs and concerns
  • Partner with Product Management and Engineering and Design in developing curriculum features
  • Analyze standards and other curriculum requirements to develop blueprints, scopes and sequences, and other project content-planning documents
  • Other duties as required.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, and 3 or more years in educational publishing, technology development, instructional design, or classroom teaching experience; or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
  • Teaching experience required
  • Highly motivated with excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills
  • Self-starter with strong organizational and time management skills; self-directed and able to handle multiple priorities with demanding time frames
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Passion for learning and teaching with K-12 and as an adult learner who has a track record of learning new skills and adapting to change
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and staff to create a high-quality results-driven, team-oriented environment
  • Travel up to 15%.
