About The Role

We currently have an opportunity for a permanent, full time Finance Process & Systems Analyst to join the Finance team based in our Perth office.

Reporting to the Group Finance & Treasury Manager, this role will be responsible for documenting, improving, and supporting a wide array of finance processes and systems critical to Iluka’s financial data integrity. The Analyst will work closely with Finance peers and IT to maintain and improve finance systems and relevant processes, as well as identify opportunities for process changes and improvements. The Analyst will also leverage experience in Excel, financial modelling, and working with data sets to help develop automated reports and forecasts.

Key accountabilities include, but are not limited to:

• act as “Business Process Expert” for Finance, working with IT and other corporate functions to ensure system health and data integrity;
• use financial modelling experience to develop models and flows for implementation in Hyperion and other tools;
• identify finance processes that can be automated with robotic processes and scope with IT;
• effective communication, both verbal and written, communicating with the Finance team to document processes and look for opportunities for improvement.

About You

To be successful for this role, you will have:

• Business degree in Accounting or related discipline;
• competence in MS Excel and/or financial modelling methodology;
• CPA or ICAA Accreditation or equivalent;
• experience in the resources sector is desired;
• ability to communicate and influence;
• ability to identify and solve complex issues; and
• attention to detail and the ability to prioritise workload.
