JOB TITLE: Digital Media Specialist
DEPARTMENT: Sales

POSITION SUMMARY
Perhaps you don’t know our name, but you’ve seen our products everywhere – bridges, scaffold decking, roadways, sidewalk grating, stairways, catwalks, stadiums and security fencing, among other applications. IKG is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of high-quality steel bar grating, aluminum bar grating, and anti-slip surfacing with locations throughout the United States and Central America.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for designing and implementing the company’s digital media plan.
- Organize and attend tradeshows when required.
- Design digital advertisements and landing pages that attract clicks and turn into leads
- Track marketing program results and interpret data to determine what is working and what is not; recommending improvement actions.
- Continue to enhance the IKG website to improve traffic and user experience.
- Deliver primary research (online, surveys, research groups), data analysis, cost projections and more to assist with objective planning, media planning and budget requirements. Deliverables include s and presentation creation.
- Provide support on Google Ads, Facebook Ads, YouTube Videos, Social Media, blogs, WordPress, Email Marketing, Content, Graphic Design.
- Post on social media and engage audiences – generate likes, follows, shares, and comments on Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
- Help prepare and edit customer facing content and assets.
EDUCATION AND SKILLS REQUIREMENT:
- BA or BS in a related college degree or 2 years technical school and tenured experience
- SEO experience or SEO training/education
- Experience in building websites in WordPress both frontend and backend
- Proficient in programming in PHP, HTML5, CSS and/or JavaScript
- Experienced in results driven website analytics
- Strong content editing/creation and digital marketing communications required: paid media, social & digital media
- Experience in industrial product marketing is desired
- Strong analytical skills, data driven thinking & highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage and inform
- Creative thinker, able to work both independently and with cross-functional teams
- Quick study, flexible and willing to handle a fast paced, ever changing work environment
- Goal oriented –delivering strong results on time and with high quality
- Strong planning and project management skills
- Intellectual curiosity and self-starter
- Data-oriented – you aren’t afraid of numbers and are comfortable with spreadsheets, conversion rates, and funnel metrics
- B2B social media campaign experience preferred
- Detail oriented
