IKEA Croydon would like to welcome a Checkout & Cash Office Manager to lead our fantastic team to deliver a great customer experience.

It is preferred that the candidate to have previous leadership experience in a large team (50-60), fast paced and busy environment. You will resilient and adaptable in an ever-changing retail situation with a proven ability to work as part of a larger team. Checkout & Cash handling experience is not essential but is preferred.

WHAT WE OFFER

• Full Time: 39 hours 5 days a week & alternate weekends off, with one or two late shifts per week.

YOUR DAY TO DAY

• Leading a team of co-workers and team leaders to enable an easy buying experience for all customers at each customer touch point and throughout the complete payment process.
• Ensuring the check-out area is in shape as new, our check-outs are efficiently equipped at all times throughout the day and co-workers are ready and available to help customers.
• Provide an inspiring and motivating direction for the team and its individual members to ensure development and succession.
• Maintain relations with external and internal partners, e.g., cash in transit company.
