IHRC, Inc. provides scientific, information management, management consulting, bioinformatics, and administrative program support to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and other Federal and private sector clients. The successful candidate will be a full-time employee of IHRC, Inc. and will be assigned to the National Center for Emerging and Zoonotic Infectious Diseases (NCEZID) and the National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases (NCIRD) at the CDC, 1600 Clifton Road, Atlanta, GA.
SCOPE OF WORK
The SAS Programmer will support a team of specialist scientists participating in the development and validation of in vitro diagnostic tests for point-of-care detection of bacterial infections, and the development of immune correlates of protection models for a range of bacterial vaccine preventable diseases. Duties will include the development of analytic methods and computational processes for the detection and quantification of bacterial antigens and antibodies reactive against specific components of infectious organisms. Additionally, responsibilities will include the evaluation of binding antibodies and functional antibodies and other immunological parameters, analysis of laboratory data, and preparation of summary s. Duties must be performed in compliance with local and federal quality systems. Documentation of daily work with good laboratory practice compliance is required.
