Your day to day

Reporting to the Director of Finance and Business Support you will be processing payments, maintaining cost reports and managing invoices. You will be accountable for maintaining orderly and accurate processes across all areas of the hotels accounting systems. As you progress in your role and demonstrate your enthusiasm and eagerness to learn you will gain exposure to end of month processes, payroll management, budgeting and forecasting, financial reporting and much more

Your day to day duties will include:

• Entering and checking accuracy of invoices
• Maintaining City Ledger, including AP and AR
• Reconciliation of accounts
• Assist and support banking process
• Preparation of Daily revenue System
• Assist with debt recovery

What we need from you

You will have:

• Recently qualified or working towards accounting or finance degree with further ambitions in that field
• Preferably some exposure to hospitality or hotels would be advantageous
• Positive work ethic, able to work to multiple deadlines
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as required
• Proficient in computer operations
• Demonstrably accurate numerical and literacy skills
