Join our DMA Server team and interact with our dealing desks, client managers and the external brokers that IG use to hedge and clients to use trade. You’ll be joining a small, close-knit and supportive team of developers working to deliver a real-time Direct Market Access (DMA) execution platform. Our focus is on high-quality, low-latency and high-throughput software using a mix of industry standard and in-house software. We provide DMA execution to IG for hedging of our leveraged products and also for clients for their access to non-leveraged products. The team is responsible for our real-world connectivity and order-routing to a number liquidity providers and brokers.

What you’ll do As a software engineer in the DMA Server team you’ll take ownership of your work from elaboration to delivery. You’ll take requirements and develop & extend solutions, test them and work with our stakeholders to deliver them. This will include: • Interact with our senior developers and architects to analyse requirements • Design and code solutions to meet these requirements • Deliver high-quality support and assurance as the work is rolled out • Ability to grow in the role and take ownership of projects end to end • Chances to learn and innovate!

Who you’ll be

You’ll be a driven, delivery-conscious, innovative and enthusiastic team-player. You’ll need experience in:

• Core Java (8 minimum) with a focus on concurrency and multi-threading
