IDP Education Ltd Hiring for People Experience Coordinator Job at Melbourne Full Time

The People Experience (PX) Coordinator supports the People Experience team in creating amazing experience for our IDP team members, acting as a first point of contact with the PX team for IDP team members. You will help our team create and deliver great end to end employee experiences, environments and opportunities. Day to day duties include PX advice, recruitment support, maintaining our HR system (SuccessFactors), and annual PX processes such as salary review and performance reviews.

What will you be doing?

Among many other things, the most common duties will include the following;

Experience & Engagement

• Be a PX first point of contact for all Corporate employees, either resolving team member problems where possible, or guiding the person to the right support
• Provide ‘Day 1 Welcome’ OHS Induction tours and New Starter Lunches for new team members
• Plan and deliver the annual engagement program for the corporate office, helping to achieve great engagement and team member experience.
• Form and lead the committee to plan and conduct each year’s end of year celebration
• Run and manage annual charity fundraiser

Talent

• Support Hiring Managers and the Talent Acquisition team with all stages of the recruitment process, ensuring an outstanding candidate and hiring manager experience
• Prepare employment contracts/ contract variations/ and other employment letters
• Use exit survey data to identify trends and issues, and advise People Leaders on appropriate steps.
• Manage employee onboarding and offboarding, ensuring a great experience is delivered

HR System (SuccessFactors) and HR Records

• Ensure SuccessFactors records are continuously updated and accurate.
• Generate employment contracts, contract change documents and other employment related documents.
• Work closely with the payroll team to ensure team members are paid accurately and promptly. Actively support resolution of any payroll issues.

Wellbeing

• Draft Workplace Health and Safety Audit and Risk Committee reports.
• Support the Group Manager with finalisation of reports.
• Act as a Fire Warden and First Aid officer for the Corporate Office
• Support all OHS programs, including the OHS Committee meetings.
• Conduct ergonomic assessments and work with team member to arrange recommended equipment
• Manage the First Aid Officer and Fire Warden lists to ensure the Corporate office is meeting it’s OH&S obligations.
• Manager any Workcover claims as needed
• Support IDP’s Well rating accreditation and development.

Compliance

• Support the review cycle for IDP’s related Policy & procedure documents
• Support the preparation of half yearly policy/compliance acknowledgement courses.
• Conduct a quarterly reconciliation of hours for all Award-covered team members and share feedback with People Leaders to support direct team member. Ensure all team members remuneration meets or exceeds Award minimum requirements.

Support

• Assist the office support team when needed, including occasionally answering reception during lunch breaks, supporting office functions and other tasks as required.
• Other duties as directed.

This is a great role for someone who hasn’t worked in People Experience before. You don’t need experience in the function, but you do need to have the following;

• Undertaking or completed relevant tertiary study
• Strong organisational skills
• Excellent Customer service orientation
• Strong communication skills

Desired

• Experience with international students or the University sector.
