Your Role

Support will be given from day one and you’ll work with a mentor and experts to support your every step:

• Initially you will learn the basics of accounting and understand how to use our finance reporting system, Sage
• Tasks may include:
  • Assisting with sales invoicing to clients and revenue reconciliations
  • Maintaining the purchase ledger, ensuring payments are raised to suppliers on time and dealing with any queries
  • Responsibility for the credit card and cash reconciliations, working with the business to identify and allocate payments accurately within the ledger
  • Providing information and assisting with audit queries on the annual accounts
• As you progress through your accounting training and qualification, you will see your responsibilities expand as you take on more of the aspects of producing a full set of accounts.

We have a fully hybrid way of working and there would be the opportunity to work from home or our Harrogate and Leeds offices.

About You

This role will suit someone who is passionate, enthusiastic and can demonstrate a genuine interest in finance and delivering high levels of customer service.

We’re more interested in the person and their enthusiasm, however a relevant degree in Accountancy or Business would be preferable along with good excel skills.
