Overview: The main definition of an IDEMIA Graphics and Printing Engineer is to provide and validate any technical solutions (new process and/or raw material, new machines and/or technologies, technical support) in accordance with the needs from the Manufacturing sites or Product Development.

Responsibilities:
Overview: The main definition of an IDEMIA Graphics and Printing Engineer is to provide and validate any technical solutions (new process and/or raw material, new machines and/or technologies, technical support) in accordance with the needs from the Manufacturing sites or Product Development.
The Graphics and Printing engineer works closely with New Product Introduction (NPI) team, personalization team and local IDEMIA Manufacturing Engineers.
Responsibilities:
- To qualify new inks, new structures, new processes according to defined test plan
- To deploy new inks, new structures, new processes in IDEMIA sites
- To benchmark and ensure technical exchanges with suppliers, to find any new technologies in order to improve IDEMIA printing performances
- To coordinate graphic and printing projects with all key players involved, ensuring an industrial project review to make sure solution is fully meeting the industrial expectation
- To drive the schedule, issues & actions, internal/external communication
- To support all IDEMIA manufacturing sites for technical issues, production ramp-up and sharing best practices
- To provide work instruction in coordination with Engineering/Method team of the concerned site
Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree (B. S.) from a four-year college or university with emphasis in Printing/Graphics
- Possess solid understanding of engineering principles including developing, qualifying and implementing new production processes within a manufacturing environment.
- Excellent time management, communications, presentation and organization skills.
- Experience with new products development, qualification and introduction.
