Finance Support Officer (Projects) – Icon Group, Head Office (South Brisbane)

12 Month Contract, Full-Time

Icon Group are the leading provider of private day hospital and pharmacy services in Australia. Due to domestic and international expansion, the Icon ePMO (Enterprise Project Management Office) department have a demand for an experienced Project Finance Support Officer to join the team.

The role is based in Icon’s head office in Brisbane’s South Bank Precinct and is designed to assist in the delivery of Icon Groups development projects.

Key responsibilities and activities

• Financial record keeping including invoice and purchase order
• Purchasing functions. Ensuring checklist of project items are delivered on time, to the required standards and at the best commercial price
• Document control – domestic and international
• Maintain project finance calendar and milestone tracking
• Assist in preparation of board and project reports
• General administrative functions
• Provide other adhoc administration assistance as directed by the Commercial Manger – Projects

The candidate:

• Experience in a project finance and or procurement environment with deadlines and budget constraints
• Experience with electronic document control and purchasing systems
• Ability to manage against project timelines to collate contract and financial information
• Proven experience in a similar role/s or health background would be advantageous
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Good time management skills
• Ability to prioritise and follow up
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Computer skills (MS Project On-line, MS Word, Microsoft Dynamics 365 and MS Excel, SharePoint)
• Mandarin language skills: fluent in written and verbal communication – desirable
