Roles/Requirements

Read and interpret Engineered drawings, prints, and schematics. Maintain and update floor level drawings and red lines.

Install, examine and repair electrical wiring, and electrical systems.

Test electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage, and resistance

Troubleshoot, maintain and repair industrial, electrical and electronic control systems and other related devices

Understand, communicate accurately production deadlines and requirements

Conduct daily Tool box meetings, assigning and adjusting crew tasks to align priorities to meet production deadlines and goals

Maintain, track and report Stock and consumable inventory levels.

Attend weekly production meetings with exceptional communication skills

Able to affectively manage a crew of 7-15 journeyman electricians and electrical apprentices.

Maintaining a safe, happy and healthy work culture.

Help to create and maintain a team atmosphere.

Making sure to keep a clean and safe working environment at the end of shift. Responsible for the maintaining and inspecting all company tools and accounting for missing tools at the end of every shift

Willing to understand and enforce company procedures and policies

Qualifications

HVAC Experience is an asset

Red Seal Journeyman Ticket

Minimum of 5 year electrical experience in Alberta

Minimum of a Grade 12 education, college or trade school diploma is preferred

Flexibility to work overtime when required (evening, weekend, or afternoon shift)

Must have strong conflict resolution skills

Strong time management and organizational skills

Superior communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills

Able to operate all necessary tools and equipment to perform various service projects

Work well under pressure

Proven ability to effectively finish project to meet our deadlines
