Ice Western Hiring for Parts Sales and Purchasing Coordinator at Calgary, AB Full Time
Duties and Responsibilities
Customer Sales (Includes over the counter walk in parts sales)
Answer customer inquiries by email and phone
Consumable buying
Prepare customer sales orders in the system
Scheduling shipping for parts
Source non-inventory items from suppliers
Receive and verify purchase requisitions from Dept. Managers, source quotes for the best combination of Quality, Price and Delivery
Prepare and issue Purchase orders
Monitor inventory levels in the system and in shop
Conduct quality control
Prepare inventory costs, retail pricing and profit reports
Respect health and safety regulations
Processing warranties, identify damaged or defective parts and work out a solution with customer & supplier.
Additional Duties:
Perform routine clerical duties
Perform various administrative functions
Keep parts area organized and clean
Provide information on materials available
Job Qualifications:
Excellent computer skills including MS office, minimum of intermediate level in Excel, outlook and word.
Understand accounting/inventory principles
Experience in parts sales
Knowledge of HVAC Equipment, Parts and Materials
Initiative, Leadership and Team spirit
Customer service oriented and good interpersonal relationships
Work in a team environment
Steel-toed safety boots
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Tight deadlines, Repetitive tasks, Attention to detail, Bending, Kneeling, Lifting and moving boxes and stock up to 30 kg.
