Job Description:
This is truly a challenging opportunity in a dynamic working environment. The successful candidate will supervise the activities of the department. Majority of work involves the HVAC industry. Therefore the work mostly encompasses the office, sheet metal, electrical, refrigeration, assembly, and welding trades. More specifically he/she will:

Recruit/manage staff of employees.

Assure proper training so that the employees will follow all the pertinent manufacturing policies, practices and production standards.

Develop and apply regulations and policies regarding health and safety.

Ensure that the employees demonstrate and practice proper work habits and continue to develop improved work practices.

Analyze and resolve work problems or assist workers in resolving work related issues.

Overseeing daily business operations.

Developing and implementing growth strategies.

Training low-level managers and staff.

Creating and managing budgets.

Improving revenue.

Participating in production meetings

Ensuring production is on schedule

Track costs and ensure there is process for purchasing

Inventory process and tracking

Evaluating performance and productivity.

Analyzing accounting and financial data.

Researching and identifying growth opportunities.

Generating reports and giving presentations.

Managing service, parts and shipping department

The ideal candidate will have the following:
Degree in business management or a master’s in business administration.

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in supervising in a manufacturing environment.

Strong interpersonal skills and proven leadership abilities to lead, motivate, coach, mentor and resolve employee conflicts.

Well established organizational skills to manage multiple tasks.

Self starter with good analytical and problem solving skills.

Continuous learner and willing to accept change.

Good knowledge of different business functions.

Strong leadership qualities.

Excellent communication skills.

Highly organized.

Strong work ethic.

Good interpersonal skills.

Meticulous attention to detail.

Computer literate.

Experience of the HVAC industry would be a strong asset.
