Special Education Certified Teacher

The Icahn Charter Schools is currently seeking a full-time Special Education Teachers to work with IEP driven students, and students at risk.

Requirements include:

· Assessing children’s skills and learning requirements

· Designing Individualized Educational Plans (IEPs)

· Collaborating with parents and school staff to track students’ progress

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree
• Master’s degree (preferred)
• Must have NYS Certification in Students With Disabilities or Special Education
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Full time teaching position assigned to one school. Icahn Charter School # 2 Monday through Friday.
