IBISKA is currently recruiting Network Analysts to provide implementation and day to day operational support, maintenance and design services for our Federal Government client’s network infrastructure which consists of equipment from multiple vendors including Cisco, Juniper, HP and Avaya.

Responsibilities will include but will not limited to:

1. Provide support to multiple sites within the across Canada, and provide physical support within the NCR (National Capital Region) including installing switches onsite;

2. Coordinate switch/router implementation and network cutover efforts with other technical groups such as but not limited to: Cable Plant resources or Onsite technical resources;

3. Troubleshooting and isolate technical issues to resolution;

4. Prepare documentation and set up procedures;

5. Engage other technical and non-technical resources in support of the project and incident escalate as necessary;

6. Participate in project meetings;

7. Writes, shares and maintains documentation clearly explaining operational processes followed to resolve hardware and software problems as well as general operating procedures;

8. Maintain detailed records of changes, incident and problems in Service Management system;

9. Update and maintain ITSM systems and procedures relevant to network changes and incidents;

10. Coordinates conference calls with vendors and other Technical groups and/or clients to resolve issues; and

11. Run reports in support of monitoring and troubleshooting using the in-house tools and management systems.

Skills/Qualifications Required

· Must have over 5 years of experience in configuration and support of WAN, MPLS-VPN and/or Metro Optical DWDM environments;

· Must demonstrate a minimum of 5 years’ experience in troubleshooting and support and implementation of switches & routers on Enterprise/large networks and/or datacentres (large = 500+ devices, geographically dispersed);

· Must demonstrate experience with protocols such as: LACP, VRRP, STP, SNMP, MPLS, TLS, OSPF, BGP (iBGP and eBGP), VRF and VRF lite;

· Must demonstrate experience in coordinating multiple tasks amongst technical groups;

· Diploma or degree from a recognized college/ university in Computer Science or Information Technology;

· ITIL Foundation Certification is an asset;

· Must demonstrate experience working with teams; meeting deadlines and working under pressure;

· Must hold a Secret Level II security clearance; and

· Must be willing to work overtime (nights and weekends) on short notice.
