We are currently working with a civil engineering contractor, recruiting for a Senior Bid Writer to join their pre-construction team. Reporting to the Proposals Manager, this role will be responsible for taking the lead role in producing high quality and professionally written content for prequalification and tender submissions.

To be successful within this position you will have previous experience within civil engineering, ideally specifically highways and have extensive experience producing and editing written content for pre-qualification and tender submissions.

This position can be looked at as a fully remote position, with the occasional travel for all team meetings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the production of well-structured written responses in accordance with Clients’ requirements and agreed company solutions
• Plan and structure the quality response to agreed departmental processes
• Work closely with operational staff to obtain appropriate information / solutions for quality response requirements
• Lead a team of Bid Writers, supporting, coaching and guiding them to achieve the highest standards of compliance and develop quality bids and proposals
• Identify win themes and bidding strategies through client research, document reviews, and liaison with regional teams
• Lead or input to storyboarding sessions, bid solutions meetings and reviews
