About The Role
Coach leaders and provide day to day management of the P&C function for HCCC, driving the implementation of a workforce strategy to support achievement of evolving Organisation objectives and managing the design and delivery of client focused P&C services across a range of areas including role design, recruitment, performance & talent management and learning & development, complying with HCCC and relevant public sector legislation requirements.

To Be Successful In This Role, You Will
Essential Requirements
Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or relevant discipline, or relevant equivalent experience providing operational P&C advice and support.
Understanding of employment matters and ability to interpret awards and conditions for a range of employees and the ability to interpret and apply Public Sector legislation and policy guidelines.
To be eligible to apply for this position, applicants must have existing Australian work rights.
Given the HCCC’s unique and critical role in maintaining the integrity of the NSW health system, it is essential that all prospective employees are able to carry out their duties in an independent, honest and consistent manner with uncompromising adherence to strong moral and ethical principles and values.
The successful applicant will be required to complete a Background Verification Check which includes a National Police Check (Criminal History), qualification check, and Working with Children’s Check.
All employees of the HCCC are required to have received a COVID-19 vaccine or have an approved medical contraindication certificate. You will be required to provide a record of your COVID-19 vaccination status if successful.
Experience with Government organisations is preferred or demonstrable ability to adapt to government conditions will need to be demonstrated.

A talent pool may be created from this recruitment action for ongoing and temporary roles of the same work classification that may become available for filling over the next 12 months.
