About The Opportunity
Are you hardworking, enthusiastic and dedicated to improving health outcomes for the south west Sydney community? The Health Promotion Team at SWSLHD is seeking a forward thinking, innovative and passionate Health Promotion Officer to be involved in the delivery of evidence based and innovative programs designed to address blood-borne virus (BBV) prevention and sexual health issues and promotion.
We are looking for someone who is friendly, approachable and has the ability to work easily in a fast paced environment. The role requires you to be highly organised and you will need to be able to manage your time effectively.
You will also work collaboratively with health services, government, non-government and community organisations to improve the quality and reach of health promotion initiatives. You will use your excellent organisational skills to work with minimal supervision and use your high-level communication skills to collaborate across teams, prepare written s and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
