I-Ten Property Hiring for Entry Level Maintenance Full Time

I-Ten Property Services LLC is looking for a Entry Level Maintenance Technician to serve clients in Boerne, Texas. The Entry Level Maintenance Technician maintains buildings and equipment in good condition by performing plumbing, electrical and HVAC work. Candidates should be able to foster a positive work environment, take initiative and possess a willingness to learn. A competitive benefit package is available to full-time staff.

Responsibilities

• Responds to work orders for general repairs to building as needed.
• Performs general repairs and preventive maintenance on HVAC equipment.
• Inspects, performs preventive maintenance and minor repairs on building equipment such as generators, elevators, air conditioning, fountains, water softeners, ice machines, fire alarm and sprinkler systems.
• Operates pickup trucks used to transport workers, materials and light equipment.
• Moves heavy furniture, equipment or supplies manually or with dollies.

Requirements

• Formal or informal education or training that ensures the ability to read and write at a level necessary for successful job performance..
• Valid Class “C” Texas Driver License. Maintenance Technician Certification is preferred.
• Capacity to take verbal or written directions.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
• Ability to perform all physical and mental requirements of the job; including lifting, pushing, pulling or carrying up to 50 lbs. frequently and troubleshooting problems.
• Availability to work weekends and holidays, if necessary. Occasional 6-day work week due to seasonal or staffing requirements. Work Hours are Monday – Friday, 8 am – 5 pm.
