I-Fulfilment Hiring for Ecommerce Marketplace Manager Job at Christchurch, England Full Time

I-Fulfilment is a fast-growing and leading technology enabled business providing fulfilment and marketing services to eCommerce businesses both in the UK and globally.

This is an exciting opportunity for a marketplace expert to have a real impact on the company’s and our clients’ performance and trading strategy across marketplaces (mainly Amazon currently), including the development of new marketplaces (Real.de, Zalando, etc) in new countries over the next 6-12 months. The duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Role key responsibilities:

• Leading Marketplace function within the i-Fulfilment Marketing team
• Defining Own brand and Client brand Marketplace strategy to drive sales in UK and other territories
• Managing Own brand and Client brand product catalogues, ensuring products are listed quickly and accurately across all relevant marketplaces, and
• Developing and maintaining expertise on the UK and International marketplaces relevant to clients and categories we operate within
• Define and development of relevant integration of Blade, our proprietary software, with clients’ needs in conjunction with the Blade development team to develop the service offering and provide industry leading levels of client reporting
• Work with Blade development team to evolve the marketplace software offering within Blade to optimise the end user functionality
• Make a key contribution to top level marketplace strategy- including which marketplaces to integrate with and in what order, optimising the commercial benefit to the business
• Managing all aspects of a successful Marketplace account (A+/marketing content, A/B testing, sign posting, brand registry and protect against infringements, buy-box optimisation, promotions, etc)
• Implementing and maintain Marketplace Marketing Services (e.g.”AMS”) campaigns, budgets and spend
• Build and review reports that deliver insights to track product and category performance, to measure category rank and share and to understand sub-category shares by market
• Troubleshooting within Marketplaces – Vendor Central, Seller Central and FBA interfaces or equivalent
• Manage and develop the marketplace team to serve own brand and clients’ needs
• Develop the Marketplace offering to provide defined levels of service model to clients to grow their business include reporting, KPIs, product review service
• Identify, develop and convert business leads to buy the Marketplace service
• Develop and implement Data-led approach to finding and prioritising growth opportunities for clients and i-Fulfilment
• Research, set-up and successfully manage new marketplaces in new countries
• Liaise with the wider marketing team and digital marketing specialists to ensure marketplace and sales channel strategies are successfully implemented and facilitate upsell opportunities
• Creation of thought leadership pieces to input into i-Fulfilment marketing
• Develop and deliver management reporting of the Marketplace function

Required Knowledge and Experience

• 5+ years commercial Amazon Vendor Central and Amazon Seller Central experience (essential) including : Digital marketing; Advertising campaign management (AMS); Building marketplace operational models; EU experience beneficial
• 1 years+ experience working in a proactive sales driven environment.
• Knowledge of other marketplaces a distinct advantage
• Self-starter with professional, results driven attitude and strong work ethic
• Positive character and communicator at all levels.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently without the need for day-to-day supervision.
• Financially and commercially astute, with sales budget control experience.
• Strong numeracy skills with high competency level/ experience of MS Excel and managing data.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent written, verbal and image communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Knowledge of industry tools and latest technologies.
