WHAT WILL OUR KITCHEN HELPER DO?

The Dishwasher/Kitchen Helper assists the Chef and Cooks in ensuring guests’ food orders are prepared accurately and efficiently so they arrive at the table on time. Kitchen Helpers work primarily with the kitchen management and staff but also with the front of house management and other service staff to ensure a smooth flow of orders from the kitchen to the table following Hy’s service philosophy. To be successful in this role, you have knowledge and demonstrated competence in the following areas:

-Understanding the kitchen protocol for prepping and serving food-Understanding of what it takes to stay on top of orders and clean up in a high volume, full service kitchen -Adhering to restaurant policy and procedures
