Your Next Role

Reporting to the Financial Controller we are seeking an Accountant to join our Finance team to support on the wider corporate finance tasks. You will work with a friendly and supportive finance team delivering quality financial services and reporting.

Key Outcomes

• All our people go home in the same condition they came to work; safety before production.
• Assisting in external audit processes, preparation of reconciliations, preparing and lodging ABS return.
• This role will be directly assisting the Financial Controller on Credit and Accounts Receivable matters.
• Budgeting and forecasting are completed for relevant cost centres to a professional standard.
• Develop relationships with key managers and provide accurate and timely information for decision making when requested.

Location

The Hyne Group employs over 800+ employees with locations in Maryborough (30 mins from Hervey Bay), Brisbane, Sunshine Coast, Newcastle, Tumbarumba, Albury-Wodonga, Melbourne. This role will have flexible working arrangements including working from home for up to 4 days per week, however access to one of the sites above is preferred.

About you

• Bachelor Degree or higher in Accounting or Commerce
• CPA or CA qualification or near completion is favorable.
• Intermediate to advanced excel skills.
• Demonstrated ability to move past transactional accounting into business partnering.
• The ability to work remotely over Teams is essential.
• The responsibilities of this role will depend on the experience level and aspirations of the applicant.
