Your days will include:
- Managing inventory availability and accuracy programs
- Assessing the effectiveness of current inventory processes, determine improvements and coordinate changes
- Monitoring inventory management system
- Coordinate special procurement projects
- Manage Capex projects for DC’s and support Capex projects for other departments involving Procurement requirements.
- KPI ing
- Standardization of best practices across all locations
- Vendor Management and Consolidation – best value overall
- Search and implement cost saving initiatives
- Support in overseeing Procurement team members
To succeed in this role, you must possess:
- Diploma, Degree or Certification in Business Admin or Supply Chain Management or 5+ years’ experience in purchasing or supply chain management
- Experience in managing distant teams
- Able to influence others and provide coaching and development for staff
- Use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems
- Experienced in negotiations and able to achieve the desired results
- Experienced in Project Management
