Hydrock Hiring for Finance Data Analyst Job at Bristol, England Full Time

Hydrock have an excellent opportunity for a Finance Data Analyst to join our thriving business. Due to continued growth we are looking for additional support within our Finance team.

Although the role is very data focused, the role will involved being immersed in the systems that produce the account for the company. We would therefore support and encourage studying for a professional accountancy qualification.

Core job functions

• Analysing and consolidating data from different systems to create reports for the SMT
• Update and maintain Power BI to show up to date monthly and annual data
• Assisting with providing information for the monthly management accounts
• Providing support to the Financial Controller in their role and carrying out such other duties as may be required from time to time
• Liaise with other members of staff across the business to improve internal reporting

Essential requirements

• A self-starter keen to develop their accountancy knowledge
• A degree in finance and accounting or similar
• A dynamic and positive approach to work and comfortable multi-tasking under pressure.
• An articulate communicator with good interpersonal skills.
• Friendly, sensible and well-mannered with a good sense of humour.
• An eye for detail and questioning mindset

Desirable requirements

• Experience of working in an accounting environment.
• Strong excel and Powerpoint skills
• Previous experience of using Power BI or similar
