Position Summary:

Join a long-standing company with over 45 years of experience in the luxury retail industry. Hyde Park Jewelers is leading independent jeweler, based in Denver, CO, with additional stores in Scottsdale, AZ and Newport Beach, CA.

The Marketing Assistant position at Hyde Park Jewelers is a full-time, office-based position in Denver, ing to the Director of Marketing. As a member of the Marketing team, the primary responsibilities of this position include coordination of art files, maintaining media schedules, invoicing and event support. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, excellent verbal and written communication, Excel spreadsheet management, and project management experience with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Coordinates watch and jewelry brand ad orders on a monthly basis according to media schedule including magazine, outdoor, direct mail and social media campaigns.
• Maintains media schedule for multiple markets including ad creative planning, ad inventory, scheduling, approvals, and meeting deadlines.
• Communicates with brands and media partners regarding schedules
• Assists in preparing advertising proposals for watch and jewelry vendors
• Assists in production of magazine and blog content
• Maintains advertising records including insertion orders, approvals, invoices and proof of advertising performance.
• Facilitates monthly mailing of invoices to vendors for print and digital advertising
• Maintains library of images and brand guidelines
• Assists in event planning for in-store and private events including RSVP tracking, signage, mail list, coordination of food & beverage, décor elements, contests, store communications, and other details.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Bachelor’s degree with 1-3 years related work experience.
• Excellent verbal and writing communication skills with proven copywriting experience. Well-versed in editing, grammar and proofreading techniques.
• Extremely detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills.
• Excellent record keeping and file management
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, some experience with Adobe programs preferred.
• Must excel in a collaborative, team environment.
• Positive attitude, willingness to learn and be creative.
• Strong work ethic and time management skills with ability to handle multiple projects at a swift pace without sacrificing quality.
• Experience with or passion for advertising, luxury or fashion industry a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 – $22.00 per hour
