About the Human Resources Intern role:
The Human Resources department is a small, efficient team looking for an HR Intern to both support and take ownership of various projects and processes. This exciting and diverse role includes:

Support in the planning and deliverance of a range of social activities, including but not limited to quarterly colleague parties, seasonal events and national days.

Creating & posting content for our social media page

Being instrumental in the formation of internal communication, including; designing posters, composing emails & creating PowerPoint presentations

Preparation and distribution of cards and letters in relation to colleague birthdays and employment anniversaries

Updating notice boards in the Hotel’s communal spaces

Involvement in the on-boarding process, including updating the HR systems and registering colleagues on our time-and-attendance system

Scheduling meetings and events in Outlook calendars

Answering colleague queries and directing them to the relevant team member/s

Welcoming candidates for interviews; providing them with the relevant paperwork and checking their right-to-work

About you

The HR Intern will be a professional, customer-focused superstar with a genuine passion for the hospitality industry. In addition to this, the HR Intern should have/be:

The ability to juggle, prioritise and take ownership of a range of different tasks and projects

A natural creative individual with a flair for thinking ‘outside of the box’

An excellent command of the English language – both written and verbal

A confident and positive communicator

A team-player with a great sense of humour

Professional attitude with a smile

Confident in Microsoft software including Word, Excel & Powerpoint
