What you’ll be doing…

You will complete a Certificate III Information, Digital Media and Technology over 24 months through a combination of formal training with a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) and practical on-the-job experience with the Host Employer.

Throughout your formal training and practical experience in the workplace, you will have the opportunity to:

• Provide software support in the resolution of technical issues related to network, internet access, file servers and software updates
• Provide hardware support and maintenance in resolving issues with hard drives, printers, projectors, cabling and Smartboards
• Assist in the distribution and collection of laptops and/or devices to both students and staff
• Deliver booked devices and hardware to classrooms
• Assist in general dutiesthat are within the skills, competence and ability of a trainee

What you’ll bring to the table…

To be successful in this role, you’ll need to meet the following selection criteria:

• Commitment to both on and off the job training
• A can-do attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to work safely and follow instructions
• Strong problem solving skills
• Strong communication skills both face to face and over the phone
• Ability to operate various technologies i.e. computers, tablets, phones, printers projectors etc.
• Current NSW National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
• Current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
• Ability to provide evidence of COVID-19 vaccinations
