Job Overview

To manage the work allocated in the most effective way and ensure the workforce completes the jobs to the deadlines specified

Main Duties

• Report directly to DEL Manager.
• Organise, plan and allocate tasks to the relevant disciplines.
• Assist in procuring materials for relevant tasks.
• Carry out material and resource estimates as required.
• Manage all reactive, maintenance and AFP (projects) tasks within your areas of responsibilities.
• Ensure all allocated tasks within your area of responsibility is completed in a timely manner.
• Maintain good communications with technical and administration departments to meet contract requirements.
• Responsible to ensure feedback reports and IMS is updated regularly.
• Comply with Health and Safety requirements inclusive of Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
• Ensure your workforce maintain UK best practise as per appropriate legislation, JSP´s and company QA.
• Carry out toolbox talks on a weekly basis.
• Manage sickness and RTW interviews.
• Ensure good timekeeping within Company Policy.
• Embed and develop performance management, carry out reviews on Charge hands and ensure that Charge hands carry out team reviews.
• Update records on monthly timesheets and ensure that the appropriate approval paperwork is enclosed.
• Provide reports as and when requested by management.
• Attend any training required to carry out the job. Maintain records of all types of employee absences

What we are looking for:

• Full apprenticeship or recognised qualification within a B&CE trade
• IT Skills
• Managerial ability in a diverse workforce
• Attend any further training required
