Hutto Independent School District Hiring for Teaching Apprentice, (Inst Aide) at Hutto, TX Full Time
Primary Purpose This position is designated for those who are eligible and enrolled in a Hutto ISD Apprentice partner
university (known as an RTI partner), are employed full time in Hutto ISD, complete 1⁄2 day of Hutto
ISD apprenticeship training monthly and replicate the activities learned with students under the
direction of a certified teacher. Apprentices are enrolled in On-Ramp 1, 2, 3, or 4 and can develop
their knowledge and skills in both content and pedagogy while gaining practical experience as they
assist student classroom instruction under the direct supervision of a certified teacher. Those hired
to complete an apprenticeship will be employed for 100% of the school day. Apprentices will follow
the district calendar, instructional day, and begin/end the semester.
Qualifications
Education/Certification:
Must be enrolled in a Hutto ISD approved RTI partner university program for teaching
Must earn Texas educational aide certificate
