Huntsville Hospital Hiring for RN Outpatient – Helen Keller Hospital, Outpatient Chemo, Full Time, st Shift at Sheffield, AL Full Time
The Registered Nurse identifies patient’s needs and priorities for care through assessment. The RN plans and delegates care based on patient needs. The RN executes therapeutic physician orders and therapeutic nursing interventions. The RN evaluates the patient’s response to care and the attainment of or progress toward expected outcomes. The RN is accountable for outcomes of patient care delivered during the assigned care span. Education Current Alabama RN license or current RN multi state license.
Experience
Fundamental clinical experience and/or previous employment clinical experience expected from a licensed Registered Nurse (RN).
Additional Skill/Abilities
- CPR certification or eligibility/capability to certify within 3 months of employment.
- Able to work under the following conditions: contact with patients under wide variety of circumstances; exposed to unpleasant elements (accidents, injuries and illness); subject to varying and unpredictable situations; handles emergency or crisis situations; may perform emergency care; occasionally subjected to irregular hours; occasional stress due to multiple calls and inquiries.
- Capable of working overtime as required/on call scheduling weekends.
- Able to read, write and speak the English language.
- PALS and ACLS certification or within one year of employment.
- Chemotherapy certification, or within one year of employment.
